ECO-BEACH RENTALS
My good friend Mike Martino owner of Eco-Beach has a great beach retail store on the north side of Gulf Blvd. The Eco-Beach store also rents kayaks, surf boards, bicylcles, fishing poles, beach chairs and umbrellas and beach wheel chairs. This is the place to get a cold drink and your fishing license.
Eco-Beach is located at 8460 Gulf Blvd., Navarre Beach, Florida 32566. The store phone number is 850-936-7263. And the their website link is http://www.eco-beach.com/ecobeachstore.htm
Below are a few photos I shot at Eco-Beach on June 20.

| I agree. We have visited with Mike since he opened and even though he only sees us once a year, he treats our family like his family. You can find his exact hours on his website. I think he's open from 8-5 during the busy season. He'll deliver and pick up a kayak or surfboard to where you're staying. |

| Thanks for the info. It's hard to believe how many times I've passed the shop without going in. I'll make sure to do just that next time I visit. I can't imagine a better day then being in a kayak off Navarre Beach. Sounds like Heaven! |

| i was using an eco store kayak when a dolphin stuck his face right in mine - it was a magical experience and i thank mike for driving the kyak over to the beach for me so i just had to drag it to the water - with some help from a very nice looking stranger - who i also took in the kayak with me to thank them for helping me launch it. |

hey people, hope you are enjoying your visit, the weather could be better. As far as renting kayaks, the Fun Store is still renting kayaks. You will have to call the store by winn dixie to set it up 936-8000. I am planning a full moon paddle sun nite if you are still here PM me. Sorry I haven't been checking the forum too often lately. Last nite was the last bands on the beach ,P'cola beach, and was pretty good, even tho the band wasn't one of my favorites. Bands always sound better at such a great site. Paradise is having 30x90, an all female band from new orleans. Juanas is always wild and crazy on halloween, Beyond Reason is the band this fri. and sat. they are a good local band. Paul Killough is playing thur. at the Sandshaker at p'cola bch. A local acoustic player and singer that plays some great tunes about the local area as well as a lot of good covers. He's one of my favorite localmusicians.http://www.myspace.com/paulkillough

so much great information and we thank you for yor response. We also went online and did more research too, and to another locals website as well.
The all female band sounds like a band we want to see! (being female ourselves!) This could be a highlight on our trip. Halloween we have been invited to a party. We have met some very nice people, some other "vacationers".
We may not kayak after all since we may run out of time and we are tired from a 6 mile walk this morning! Our next stop is Appolachacola (?) on our way back home.
We are going to stop and see what Seaside is like too.
Again, thank you! |
