The "Reef Buddy Assistance" is thread to help divers and snorkelers find a buddy when they visit the underwater reefs at the Gulf and Santa Rosa Sound. Be smart and safe by always swimming with a buddy when exploring the reefs. Use this thread to post comments about the reef buddy system and let us know if you need help in finding a reef buddy.

Have fun and enjoy the unique reefs of Navarre Beach.

There's a chance that I will be there the weekend of October 5th. If I do make it to Navarre then I would love to meet you and go out to the reef. I'm just a snorkeler, not a diver, but I won't hold you back!

As that weekend gets closer I'll let you know for sure if I will be in town or not.
Sleep late, drive fast and don't take anything seriously...

Always willing to meet new friends! The idea of diving with someone (dive buddy) is to be close to help if a diver has a problem at depth. Number two rule in diving is never dive without a buddy.

Encase you are wondering about #1 rule of diving--- never hold your breath
