Spectacular, gorgeous shot, Arlo. (Personally, I think you've taken the lead in this contest).

Keep the great splashes coming!

Great pics. Go Fish, I like the second one.

Keep the splashes coming. It's not over until Dave says so and EBB seconds the motion.

Mark Jensen Trial

Have any of yall been watching the Mark Jensen trial coverage on TRUtv (Court TV) or reading about it on CNN? Mark Jensen lived a few blocks down the street from me at the time of his wife's death. He is accused of murdering his wife so he could be with the woman with whom he was having an affair. I...

Thanks Homey. It's hard to complete a new home in less than a year from what I've heard others say on the forum. So 2008 is probably more realistic. Unfortuanately, the sale of my house in WI appears to be a no-go. But I'm not letting the buyer who backed out off the hook so easy. I've watched too m...

Beachgirl, My home on NB was constructed in 1984 on a foundation in which clay was used as a base. Apparently, over the years the clay shifted. During the constrction of a holding pond and roadway by the developers of Navarre By the Sea, some 50 truckloads of "brown sand" were said to have been remo...

No, I fell when I was using the couch as a ladder... :D Oh well. We are having a huge snowstorm today. The witch has finally got off her broom and found an atty. Anyway, the snow is so pretty when you're on medical leave from work. :D

Would that I could EBB...We had some snow and ice here. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. I broke my wrist and had surgery. I'm playing one armed these days. The literal witch that signed a contract to buy my house now wants out. But life goes on. As my attorney drafts a nasty letter and ...

Looks like it's going to start snowing any minute now. The flakes of white come tumbling down, December.

"You-you want a snowflake? Just say the word and I'll throw a lasso around it and pull it down."

Thanks EBB. It was a total surprise to me. I thought it would take months to sell especially because it's only a one bedroom house. The lady buying it is some sort of green nutcase, loves the prairie and wants to preserve my vacant land. I was happy the nutcase is going to preserve Miss Emily's flow...

John Masefield. 1878– Sea-Fever I MUST down to the seas again, to the lonely sea and the sky, And all I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by, And the wheel's kick and the wind's song and the white sail's shaking, And a grey mist on the sea's face and a grey dawn breaking. I must down to th...
