Thanks Jeff for all information. The Irish Pub sounds great. The weather forecast is really looking ideal. We need the warm sun and I am looking to get out and run down there.

We will be staring our vacation down there in a week. I can not wait to hit that white sand and feel the sun. Wisconsin has been freezing cold. No spring here yet.

Coming down middle of April, haven't been there in 3 years

Came down year after year, had to skip the last 2 years...Anything new we should check out that is new in the last couple years? I understand the bridge is under repair, can I still jog over it in the mornings?
Thank you

Farwell to old pier...

It appears the old pier is completely gone. Is that part of the project completed? It is only memories now. New pier is looking great!

I have been coming down for 10 years and the last several times I go the way Kenny explained and found it to be by far the best way. 41 at first off of I65 can be curvey until Brewton so drive careful. We just returned from Navarre Beach and had a great time. Thanks everyone in Navarre.

Shelling

I can see a fair amount of people walking the beach. Are they shelling? How are the shells on the beach lately?

I would like to hear more. Was Jaws really filmed around there and where did they do it if it was?

Love the zoom cam

I'd like to thank who ever is in charge of the zoom cam and bridge cam. ( my guess is it is Kenny ). I look at them almost daily and enjoy them. It looks like the pier is coming along nicley and have enjoyed watching it be built. Every morning when visiting, I pour a cup of coffee and watch the gulf...

Looking for Hiking Trails...

I will be coming down in early April and I always stay in Navarre Beach. This year I would like to get out and do some hiking. I found some hiking trails in the Blackwater state park. Can anyone give me some nice hiking trails in the area. I like the water and woods. Looking for nice trails.

Question for Kenny...

We were down in April between the 10th and the 18th. We stayed at the Regency and the beach was pretty much washed away. A four wheeler and a crew came along a few times and looked as if they were surveying the beach. They had some eqiupment that I did not know what it was. My question is: Is the be...

Navarrian,

Thanks for the info. If I needed an excuse to stop in there, now I have one. You are alright in my book. It is already a stop that week, always is.
Thanks for the well wishes and make sure you keep the sun cranked up for us.

Getting ready to come down to Navarre Beach...

We are getting ready to come down to sunshine and rest. We are leaving on Wed. night and heading to New Orleans so the kids can see it. We are staying one night and heading over to Navarre Beach for the rest of the week. We come down every year and love it more and more everytime we come down. Today...
