Re: Spring Breakers

It doesn't really speak too well of local authorities, either. Do they not patrol the beaches during spring break? That trash didn't suddenly appear...it had to accumulate over many hours or days. So in all that time the beaches were left completely unattended by local authorities? Inexcusable. One ...

Re: FOG - thick as "sea poop"!!

Yep, it was that thick. Yesterday evening was even thicker. We walked to the end of the Sandcastle Townhomes sound-side pier yesterday and were completely engulfed in the fog. Couldn't see Juana's, couldn't see the pier right next door at Buena Vida and couldn't even see the beach where we had just ...

Re: Turtles and the pier

Most of the turtles I see at the reef have at least one large, rusty hook sticking through their jaw. One poor turtle had 2. One afternoon I saw 6 turtles in the reef system and 4 of them had large hooks in their mouths. Very upsetting and sad...

Re: Birdseye view of Navarre's reef

Can someone please educate me please. I don't understand the stucture of the reef. Why is it so tall? I understand the shelves so fish can go in and out but I thought it would be built close to the ocean floor. Thanks!! I really don't know the ins & outs of why the reef structures are designed the ...

Re: 3.1/6.2 Mile Walk or Runs in Navarre????

I don't know of anything and can't find anything...not even in Pensacola. The 1st run of the year looks like March 28. The 2nd Annual: Run, Walk, or Roll for Mobility-5K/1mile.

Sorry P'kid...

Re: Toll road on Navarre Beach?

Utterly ridiculous. This is so outlandish as to be comical...which means that it's probably likely to happen.

And will we still have to pay to get into Opal Beach on top of that??
