Glad it went well and was worth it!
Will have to keep in mind that such is available over there.

We will be spending next Saturday night with friend in Panama City Beach (after a run to Tallihassee for a course earlier in day). Looking forward to going the new Haufbrau House over there for some German food and drink.
Cheers, Pete

Whe have a Haufbrau House here close to us (it is in Newport KY) and it is a fun place.
April 2009 was our first trip to Navarre. We would like to visit several times a year but alas we cannot. Can only afford every other year.

Yea, our daughter and SIL live in Dayton and went there for her 30th last year with friends - the friends rented a limo for the Dayton-KY-Dayton trip for all 8 of them (due to the quantities of liquid refreshment available at Haufbrau!)
We used to go the the Black Forest in Pisgah, OH (just north of Cinci) for great German food and drink - but it closed. Was owned by the brother of the owner of a restaurant in Germany that friends of ours frequented when they lived in Germany. The Black Forest owner used to come around to your table and have shots of schnapps with customers.
Cheers, Pete

Years ago they opened one in Baytown TX. I went a few times and everytime it was worse than the next. It finally closed its doors.

That is a shame, i have only been to the one here in KY twice and both times it was a good time.
