So....I went out this moring to go to the reef. I will admit I'm not the brightest person, but.....where is it!?!? I didn't see any markings for it. I hung a left after the bridge and parked in the first parking lot. Was I close?? I might try and run back out there if I can find it!

Robear - does the printscreen (I posted early in this thread) of the platform setting the reef help? I know that's only approximate but might give you a good idea where to look. Apparently signage hasn't been placed yet! :?

RoBear...the reef was installed about 300 feet offshore in front of lifeguard tower #2. The "middle" parking lot in the Navarre Beach State Park area. I think you went too far.

There are PVC markers on beach that mark E and W boundaries of reefs, just East of lifeguard station. Coast Guard will not allow bouys or markers in the water. Reefs are just past S sandbar.
Went out Sun and it was great. Mike and Nancy Sandler were scuba diving at same time and sent me a few pics. 48 hrs after deployment and there were already a lot of baitfish attracted to reefs.

Who will be the very first person to post a VIDEO of diving the Navarre Beach Reef? What an exciting new resource.

The seas are dead calm and it appears to be gin clear by the webcam. How incredibly gorgeous it must be diving the reef right now.

I will be there in about 12 hours. Will be spending the next 16 days of my life on the beaches of Navarre and I plan on spending a lot of time at both of the reefs; Navarre's and Pensacola's.
