My wife and I are back in Iowa after what we consider our best snowbird winter on Navarre Beach out of the 7 seasons we've been there. We are back home just in time to see things turning green and flowering trees ready to bloom. And hopefully a plentiful April harvest of Morel Mushrooms awaits us!

I wanted to share with you who have not heard about it the Bald Eagle Web-Cam that is on 24/7 at Decorah, Iowa. We've enjoyed watching ma and pa Bald Eagle hatch three eggs in recent days. At this point it's getting to be a challenge keeping the little ones in the nest at times.

Some of you may have already heard about this site which gets hundreds of thousands of visitors each day, but in a search of the forum I saw no mention of it. Nature is wonderful whether on Navarre Beach or elsewhere so thought I would share.

Looking forward to 2012 at Navarre Beach already!

Hi Arlo - Good to know you had a nice snowbirding season.

I've been watching the eagles, too. That camera is awesome, isn't it? Some of the close-ups show such detail. Those little eaglets, tho, are not too cute. Right now they are so uncoordinated, because their wings are so big compared to the rest of their body. Funny to watch.

I watched some last year from Oklahoma, but the camera was much farther away. This is great and I'm enjoying the audio on it, too.
May your troubles be less, and your blessings be more, and nothing but happiness come through your door.

Looks like some kind of furry critter remains still in the nest ... Wonder when the eagles will return?
