 Funny.

I've mentioned I love the history in college football. As many times as I've watched Clemson play Georgia Tech, I never made the connection to the "rambling wreck from Georgia Tech." This season's game had several coming into the stadium on an old model T or something along that time era. I'm not a car expert. LOL Anyway, figured that was the "rambling wreck." Still have not looked into it deeply.

My dad was a Civil Engineer (U of Minnesota - 5yr. Bachelors of Civil Engineering (BCE) vs. the more usual 4 yr. Bachelors of Science (BS) in Civil Engineering - maybe closer to a Masters?).
Anyway, he always talked about Georgia Tech, which also had a well regarded school of Engineering, and their school song:

"I'm a rambling wreck from Georgia Tech, and a heckofa engineer. A heckofa, hechofa, heckofa, heckofa, heckofa engineer."
Cheers, Pete

Another great weekend for college football. Can't complain about Clemson! #9 Etienne is remarkable. The quarterback is doing great. Also watched Notre Dame and VT. Good game.

I gotta note that Iowa Hawkeyes moved into the top 25 in rankings.
That makes 6 Big Ten ranked - if add "honorary" Big Ten Notre Dame (surrounded by Big Ten) - that 7 ranked teams equals SEC.
Hooray!

Notre Dame, at some point, will move into the ACC. Their basketball is already a part of the ACC. I think the football move has something too do with their contract with NBC??? Might be a rumor on that but I do know they will eventually be ACC.

Wow! Perdue over Ohio State.

Clemson took on NC State, also undefeated in the ACC. We kept our standing. Our defense is STRONG.

We are now officially in the "horrible" season concerning College Football, although we still have the bowls and Championship. However, as is the case every year this time spells the end of the shortest season in sports.

One incredible story concerning Jalen and the Bama team. The kid could have left and joined another team but he stuck it out, prayed about it, got his chance and sealed the deal. Good young man. Great story for all these snowflakes out there now. However, you either have it or you don't and most do not.
