The Blue Wahoos kick of the 2019 schedule (at least at home) on April 10, vs Jacksonville.
If you have never been to the stadium or seen a Blue Wahoos game, may I strongly suggest you do so the next time you are in Navarre or Pensacola. The people working there treat you like family, not a bad seat in the house, food as good if not better than a lot of major league stadiums and the views of the Bay are spectacular. Oh and I think the most expensive ticket in the park is $12 bucks. I will hopefully be able to take in 4 or 5 games this year.

Btw....latter July and into August and Sept, you need to tank up on water. It can get pretty toasty, still and humid.

And I proudly point out that the Blue Wahoos are now an affiliate AA team of the Minnesota Twins ("Twin Cities" of Minneapolis and St. Paul).
Started watching them in the 1960's with my grandfather on a B&W TV at a cabin on a lake that was at the very fringe of the Minneapolis WCCO broadcast range - kinda a "snowy" reception.
Won World Series in 1987 and 1991 - I still have my 1987 Championship T-shirt!

What Pete? Last summer and since their inception, they have been Cincy Reds? When did that sale take place?

Change in affiliation happened over the winter. No "sale" - Wahoos still owned by Quint Studer, Bubba Watson, etc.PensacolaKid wrote: ↑Mon Feb 25, 2019 9:35 amWhat Pete? Last summer and since their inception, they have been Cincy Reds? When did that sale take place?
