Although this looks like a ton of fun, there is an old saying when it comes to ultralight aircraft, for which the FlyTheBoat is one and that is....."never fly higher than you want to fall." I would love to take that ride but keep it at or below about 70 feet. That is high enough to get over the power lines and over the pier and let's just keep it at that.

I am not a structural, mechanical or aeronautical engineer but common sense dictates to me that salt air and water and aluminum, even aircraft aluminum might not go together to well. I would think it is a matter of time before some of that aluminum weakens to the point of failure. Hope not but......

Yeah, but these fly-the-boat aircraft have a life-time guarantee.

Come on guys it's the end of the tourist season, so going forward let's try being more serious. What? SEC football starts this week. Excuse me guys I have to become more serious about Bama football. I'm sure a lot of folks on the forum will understand.

Yep Kenny, I do understand and agree, it's time to get serious, been watching some exhibition pro games, keeping up with the Bama boys now in the pros along with some games from last season on the new SEC Network, just as a warm up, but ready for the real season to begin.

Have you guys seen the Alabama Football Jet provide Navarre Beach a Fly-By?

Maybe we can get PensacolaKid to capture the event on the HD 1080 Zoom Cam. This is the Jet used for recruiting high school football players. This is definitely a safe aircraft.
