Mixing gardening with my new Nikon

I've had a new Nikon D3300 for about a year and only since things have calmed down a bit have I finally had time to pull it out and begin working with it in manual mode. Here's a couple of shots from my flowers: Boscobel Lantana and Stargazer Lily.

Purslane. In a pot sitting on a chair in the garden but will soon be a part of a flower box on the fence. It opens for sunlight daily and "goes to sleep" at sundown.
