It's not seaweed, it's SEAGRASS and it's ALIVE. Seagrass is one of the main building blocks for the extensive marine life we have here in the panhandle and around the world.
This Sat.(March 27) we will be learning about, and celebrating this building block at the 10th ANNUAL SEAGRASS AWARENESS CELEBRATION.
I'm sure most forum members already have plans to go to Shoreline Park South in Gulf Breeze from 10-2 Sat, but for those who haven't made plans, I urge you to bring the kids and grandkids for some big fun!
There are a lot of activities going on around the area, stop by on your way to other places on your list and I guarantee you won't be dissapointed. As always this is a FREE festival, here is a link to a PNJ article with more details, http://www.pnj.com/article/20100321/NEWS01/3210321
See ya at the water Saturday!!
