We are planning a group trip to Navarre this summer and bringing a Hobie Cat catamaran.

I know there is a Berm in between the road and beach and we couldn't get it over that.

It looks like maybe the area east of Emerald Surf is open (or beyond that the State Park or east of that the Elgin Wildlife Management Area) and might be a possibility.

Anyone have any ideas on that?

The berm stretches from the federal property at the west end all the way through the County (used to be State) Park to the east. The Eglin property to the east of the park can not be accessed.

If the cat is to large to be carried over head by a couple persons while crossing the berm on a walkover, I would suggest the easiest place to get it to the beach for the day would be at the end of the berm to the west at the beginning of federal property or at one of the pull offs on the National Seashore.

There is also an area by the county swim area that boats can be dragged to the surf and is where many kayak fishermen launch thier boats but you have to remember that it will not be allowed in the designated swim area and all boats in the water have to stay 300' from the pier which is slated to open the first of June.
