America's Air Force - Integrity, Service, Excellence!

The Navarre Press just reported that the Air Force is considering changing the deployment of the F-35 jets from Eglin Main Field near Valparaiso to Choctaw Field which is just north of Navarre. If this happens, there will be takeoffs and landings every few minutes for 15 hours a day, seven days a week. The total number would be between 100,000 and 200,000 per year depending upon the number of planes deployed. The F-35 is supposed to be super loud, which is why Valparaiso has filed suit to try to block them. Navarre on the other hand has no local government to try to stop this potential disaster to the quality of life in the Navarre area. In addition, property values would take a major hit. What can be done? Any suggestions?
